I need a house sitter, what do I do?

To get started, you will need to register as a home owner on the Mindahome platform.

Here’s how you can begin the process:

  1. Register as a Home owner: Visit the Mindahome website, click on 'Join us' in the top menu bar, and then select 'As a home owner' from the dropdown menu. This will guide you through the registration process. You can either choose our Standard home owner membership which is free or our Premium paid membership which offers many more features.

  2. Create Your Listing: Once registered, complete the form detailing your requirements, including the specific dates when you need someone.

  3. Connect with Sitters: After submitting your ad, sitters who have indicated availability in your location will be notified and, if you chose our Standard membership, those available for your dates will contact you. If you chose our Premium membership, available sitters will contact you and you can contact sitters whose profiles appeal to you from their profile page.

  4. Evaluate and Select a Sitter: Communicate with potential sitters through the Messages page on your Members Control Panel. Review their profiles, verify references, and conduct interviews to determine the best fit for your needs.

Upon successful registration and creating your advertisement, your listing will enable you to manage messages and track communications with sitters directly from your control panel.
