Verification and Vetting Process
At Mindahome, we verify a sitter’s identity during the payment process when they first join the platform, but we do not conduct additional background checks. It is the responsibility of homeowners to carefully vet applicants. This can be done by interviewing potential sitters, checking their references directly (by calling the contacts provided), and reviewing their police clearance certificates. Mindahome does not play a part in the selection or vetting process beyond facilitating these initial connections.
