Security cameras

Security cameras are in common use these days and home owners are asked if they have them when they submit their ad. If they do they are asked if are they internal, external or both. Their answer is shown on their ad page.

If they have internal cameras they are required to turn them off in accordance with our website Terms of Use and members Code of Conduct which all members agree to having read and will abide by when they register with us. 

Having said this, it's up to you to discuss their cameras with them and get their agreement for them to be turned off when you are house sitting for them. You can request that the cameras be turned off during your stay, and it is advisable to include this agreement in a house sitting contract. This contract can specify that cameras must be off and that you reserve the right to cover them if you feel uncomfortable.
