How far in advance do we need to advertise for a sitter?

You need enough time to confer with the applicants and make a decision on which one or couple to use. We recommend a comfortable minimum time is one month but 2 or 3 months is more practical. Some home owners will put their ad on and choose a sitter more than 6 months ahead although we don't advise booking a sitter that far ahead as both members circumstances can change in that time.
